The Divine Service is the beating heart of our congregation’s life together. It’s where we gather in the presence of Jesus to receive his gifts and offer our prayers, praise, and thanksgiving.

Check out our “What to Expect” page if you want to learn more. And if you want to experience the Divine Service for yourself, join us at 460 Annapolis Street West, West St. Paul MN 55118.

We look forward to seeing you!

VISITORS &
THE LORD’S SUPPER

Given the content and purpose of the Lord’s Supper, we ask that visitors desiring to share in it with us first speak with one of our pastors sometime outside the Divine Service.

For more information on the Lord’s Supper, check out our “What to Expect” page.

KIDS IN
WORSHIP

The best place for kids to be during the Divine Service is with the rest of us. The Service is where Jesus comes to bless all his people—including the children—and we don’t want to get in the way of that.

Our parents have found it helpful to sit up front so their little ones can be close to the other children, watch the action, see the fire of the candles, and look at the carvings, windows, and crosses while they eat their snacks.

Parents can also help their little ones by inviting them to sing along or quietly explaining different parts of the Service to them. Don’t worry if they get fussy or squirmy. There’s plenty of room for them to walk around if they need to, and plenty of holy things to look at. We also have a nursery with a changing table if things get “really messy.”
